Harry might have spent the next day after spending the night in bed (just sleeping, just sleeping!) with both Q and James, over thinking it all. Wondering what it meant, what he should do next. What would happen next, regardless.

But somehow, that wasn't how he spent the day. Instead, he felt rather at peace with it all. So he spent his time overthinking something else.

He knocked lightly on the door of Bond's study, balancing a tray on one hand.

Bond groaned low and deep, savouring him until he needed to breathe. Only then did he pull away.

"And do you believe that?" he asked, grinding his hips forward against him.

Harry's eyes fluttered shut. "Yes. Yes, I do. James..."

He couldn't help himself, he slid a hand down and over James' groin.

"Would you believe I want you so much more than that?" he asked, brushing his lips along Harry's jaw.

Harry's tongue darted out to wet his lips. "Tell me, then. Tell me how you want me." Both because he wanted to hear it and because he wasn't entirely sure he knew.

Bond began to undo his shirt and strip him of it.

"I want you bare. In bed. Begging me to have you," he said honestly.

Harry took a shaky breath. He felt close to begging already. His gaze raked over his body, watching the newly revealed skin as he unbuttoned his shirt. "Do you think this is okay?" he said softly. He was asking about Q without saying it.

"You worry too much, Harry," Bond said. "You're going to think yourself to death."

He was so right. Harry grabbed his shirt and kissed him again.

Bond kissed him deeply, tugging at Harry's clothes, but making no real progress since he wouldn't let go of him long enough to take anything off.

Harry at some point managed to get a hand underneath Bond's shirt and onto his bare skin. God he felt good, warm skin, hard muscles...

"I'm so glad you didn't kill me when I washed up on the beach," he said breathlessly.

Bond chuckled softly.

"A good thing I didn't," he said as he pulled at Harry's shirt to strip him.

Harry was still touching every bit of bare skin he could find, and his heart was also racing at an embarrassing rate.

"I want you," he said breathlessly. It was true, though he also sounded slightly as if he were reassuring himself.

"I know," Bond replied as he made it easier for Harry and divested himself of his shirt, too.

"But are you sure you know what you want, Harry?" he purred then, easing in close. "What would you ask for?"

Harry inhaled sharply. "James, I should tell you... I've never actually..." Somehow he couldn't bring himself to say it. Well, he knew exactly why. Part of the same reason he was in this position. Years of avoidance and repression.

"Never...wanted it enough to ask for it?" he asked with a hint of a sly smile and a glint in his eye.

"Or has the opportunity to ask never...risen?" he asked, boldly cupping the ridge of his cock.

Harry gasped. “I didn’t… think I wanted it.” That wasn’t true. “Or I just… I never really sought out men, just took opportunities, and that wasn’t… the opportunity.” Or at least, it has never come up. And Harry had been perfectly happy with the sex he had. Just. Curious.

Bond moved in close to his ear, his breath warm as it feathered against the shell.

"The opportunity is here," he whispered, then bit his neck carefully.

Harry's words caught in his throat for a moment and then he laughed breathlessly. "Oh my god, you love this don't you."

Bond drew back and looked at him, a soft earnestness in his eyes.

"I love you, Harry," he corrected.

Harry blinked at him in surprise, and then his expression softened as well. "I - I suppose I love you too, James."

"You're not certain?" he asked, then pulled him close. "Should I convince you?"

He kissed him then, deeper and hungrier while his hands undid Harry's trousers.

Harry wasn't sure that this was how James convinced him of that, but it was certainly convincing him of something.

"Feeling better by the second," he gasped against his mouth.

"Good," he purred.

Bond undid his trousers and dragged them down, just to bare Harry's ass. That way he could grasp each bare cheek and jerk him close. Bond wore a satisfied smirk as he looked into Harry's eyes.

"I can't tell you how often I've thought of this," he confessed.

"You - you did an exceptionally good job of hiding it," Harry said breathlessly. "Though you did an exceptionally good job of hiding a lot of things once I got here."

And Harry had been thinking about it, too. Since the beginning, if he could be honest, though he'd felt like a monster for the thought even crossing his mind.

A shock tightened his chest and his gut. He knew how important it was to Q to keep certain things from Harry. Bond had to admit that the wizard was right. He, too, thought Harry would think he was a monster for the unkindness of his hands.

"I have no idea what you mean," he lied smoothly, then kissed him again to keep his mind occupied in the moment.
