Bond

[lepidopterologist]

Harry might have spent the next day after spending the night in bed (just sleeping, just sleeping!) with both Q and James, over thinking it all. Wondering what it meant, what he should do next. What would happen next, regardless.

But somehow, that wasn't how he spent the day. Instead, he felt rather at peace with it all. So he spent his time overthinking something else.

He knocked lightly on the door of Bond's study, balancing a tray on one hand.

"That we do," he agreed.

Then Bond smiled and closed the distance to kiss him, this time perfectly lucid.

Harry's eyes fluttered shut, and he kissed him back, keeping his hand on his face and placing the other at his waist.

They really did have more important things to focus on. But given everything that had happened the night before he at least needed to know that it was real.

Bond lingered there, savouring the kiss. And when he broke away, he smiled.

"Do you trust my kiss now, with a clear head?"

[lepidopterologist]

Harry looked a touch sheepish. "Yes. I do."

[provocateur_king]

"Hold to that trust, Harry," he said.

"I need you in more ways than one."

[lepidopterologist]

Harry realized that this would have been a clever way to manipulate him, if that was the intention. But he truly didn't think that was the case. And he most certainly didn't want it to be.

"And Q?" he said softly. "Do you think... this could be okay? The three of us?"

"I believe so," he nodded. "He loves you, and I know the depth of feeling he has for me. He won't ever have to face choosing."

[lepidopterologist]

"I would say isn't he a lucky man," Harry said, with a little quirk to his lips, "but.I think actually that's you."

[provocateur_king]

"I won't argue with that," he said with a cocky grin.

[lepidopterologist]

Harry seemed to consider this for a moment, and the he grasped Bond's shirt and hauled him in for another kiss. Like he'd wanted to, he thought, since far longer than he cared to admit.

Bond caught his face in both hands and kissed him deeply, forgetting for the moment that the future was closing in fast. In this moment, there was only Harry.

Harry's breath caught in surprise as James deepened the kiss, and then he sagged against him a little, still gripping his shirt.

It felt... right. As right as it had when he'd first kissed Q.

The longer he kissed him, the deeper it grew. Bond pulled him close, catching Harry's shirt in a fist at his waist to hold him in place.

A soft moan from Harry escaped into Bond's mouth, and he felt himself growing very aroused. This truly hadn't been what he had intended when he'd come in here, but he suddenly realized how much he'd wanted this. Even as he simultaneously worried about Q and how he would feel.

Bond groaned low and deep, savouring him until he needed to breathe. Only then did he pull away.

"And do you believe that?" he asked, grinding his hips forward against him.

Harry's eyes fluttered shut. "Yes. Yes, I do. James..."

He couldn't help himself, he slid a hand down and over James' groin.

"Would you believe I want you so much more than that?" he asked, brushing his lips along Harry's jaw.

[lepidopterologist]

Harry's tongue darted out to wet his lips. "Tell me, then. Tell me how you want me." Both because he wanted to hear it and because he wasn't entirely sure he knew.

Bond began to undo his shirt and strip him of it.

"I want you bare. In bed. Begging me to have you," he said honestly.

[lepidopterologist]

Harry took a shaky breath. He felt close to begging already. His gaze raked over his body, watching the newly revealed skin as he unbuttoned his shirt. "Do you think this is okay?" he said softly. He was asking about Q without saying it.

"You worry too much, Harry," Bond said. "You're going to think yourself to death."

[lepidopterologist]

He was so right. Harry grabbed his shirt and kissed him again.

Bond kissed him deeply, tugging at Harry's clothes, but making no real progress since he wouldn't let go of him long enough to take anything off.

Harry at some point managed to get a hand underneath Bond's shirt and onto his bare skin. God he felt good, warm skin, hard muscles...

"I'm so glad you didn't kill me when I washed up on the beach," he said breathlessly.

Bond chuckled softly.

"A good thing I didn't," he said as he pulled at Harry's shirt to strip him.
